Dear Representatives

I ’m a man from Russia.

There are many sensible people in Russia.

I intend to express my sincere good wishes.

The United States has told the UN Security Council that it will work with allies to bring to justice those who violate international law, including “by restricting funds for malicious activities."

The money Russia could earn from pumping its gas to Europe via Nord Stream 2 would likely later be used by the Kremlin to destabilize the West through targeted poisoning attacks (e.g., Sergei Skripal and Alexei Navalny), disinformation campaigns, interfering with democratic processes, cyberattacks, coup d’etat, military aggressions, etc.

“The new project would permit new technologies to be placed along the pipeline route, and that is a threat,” said the deputy assistant secretary of state for energy diplomacy back in 2018 during her visit to Berlin. Similar concerns have been voiced by Swedish minister of national defense with regard to Nord Stream.

“If anyone decides to engage with Russia, they are in fact doing business with the Russian security apparatus,” Poland’s Minister-Special Services Coordinator Mariusz Kamiński underscored as he delivered the keynote address at a conference hosted by the Washington, D.C. – based Wilson Center in 2019.

The controversial Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline project will definitely be completed this year, Viktor Zubkov, chairman of the board of directors of Russia’s gas giant Gazprom, said on Friday |Mar 26, 2021|.

“The active work is underway, with quite a bit remaining to be done,” Zubkov told reporters, as carried by Russian news agency TASS. “It will surely be completed this year, definitely,” Zubkov noted.

Gas will be the strongest-growing fossil fuel and will increase by 0.9 percent from 2020 to 2035. It is the only fossil fuel expected to grow beyond 2030, peaking in 2037. From 2035 to 2050, gas demand will decline by 0.4 percent. This relatively moderate decline is due to hard-to-replace gas use in the chemical and industrial sectors, which limits the impact of an accelerating decline in gas used for power.

| Global gas outlook to 2050 | February 26, 2021 | Report McKinsey & Company.

Russia’s gas giant Gazprom believes that pipeline natural gas could be compatible with the global climate goals of greenhouse gas reduction and Europe’s commitment to net-zero emissions by 2050, according to Elena Burmistrova, Director General of Gazprom Export.

However, many politicians believe that sanctions against Nord Stream 2 are an effective tool to deter malicious activity.

Poland and Ukraine call on U.S. President Joe Biden to use all means at his disposal to prevent the project Nord Stream 2 from completion.

Michael McCaul is the ranking member on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and Jim Risch is the ranking member on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations released a joint statement about the fact that the time for action is now. “We urge Biden to stop dragging his feet on this issue and implement, without delay, the mandatory U.S. sanctions on all vessels and companies currently working to complete the Nord Stream 2 pipeline”.

While the Europeans are concerned about the prospects of deploying military infrastructure along the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, russians is concerned about the prospect of continuing to finance the construction of a concentration camp system.

“I have to admit that the Russian prison system was able to surprise me,” Navalny posted on Instagram along with an old photo of himself with a close-cropped haircut.

“I had no idea that it was possible to arrange a real concentration camp 100km from Moscow.”

Navalny added that he was in Penal Colony No 2 in the town of Pokrov, Vladimir, with a “freshly shaven head”.

The regime of detention in concentration camps of this type can be torture for some prisoners.

Lead Republican Michael McCaul and Chairman Gregory W. Meeks of the House Foreign Affairs Committee released a joint statement about the fact that Putin regime be held accountable for its shameless corruption.

However, if we take into account the joint investigation of Bellingcat, The Insider and Der Spiegel, with the participation of CNN, we should conclude not so much for its shameless corruption about shameless serial killers.

We are talking about serial murders in the personal interests of specific individuals.

It is believed that the number of people killed is much higher than the investigators found out Bellingcat, The Insider and Der Spiegel with the participation of CNN.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in an interview broadcast on Sunday / March 28, 2021. / that it was ultimately up to those building the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline whether to complete it despite opposition from Washington | March 28, 2021. |

From the above statement of the Secretary of State, it follows that the possibilities for blocking malicious activity in the part of the Nord Stream-2 are significantly limited.

Thus, the initiative to block the financing of malicious activities in other ways, voiced by the United States, meets the interests of the survival of the Russian people.

I will explain what the essence of the current situation is for the people of Russia.

Now the export of raw materials from Russia has collapsed.

However, a strong domestic economy that could support demand has been destroyed in Russia over several decades. After all, the dominant management model chosen was based only on the export of raw materials.

Money in circulation is artificially compressed. People’s ability to pay is destroyed. The optimism of the people is destroyed. Qualified manufacturers are in the doldrums.

Additionally, in some jurisdictions, there is a vicious style of domestic policy: “every ruble in people’s pockets is a resource in the hands of the opposition.” An aggressive management culture prevails, aimed at destroying the rights of a well-intentioned person.

In fact, organized crime is an element of aggressive governance and the suppression of human rights.

It has already reached the point of recreating the system of concentration camps on the type of Stalin’s Gulag

People are actually deprived of the opportunity to run their own business and provide for themselves.

Russia has no shortage of innovators, risk-takers and freethinking entrepreneurs. But their country is not built for them. Sooner or later, the state security apparatus makes its unwelcome appearance.

The New York Times

At the same time, they invest a lot of money in their ownpropaganda channels to support their disinformation efforts.

They leverages outlets that masquerade as news sites or research institutions to spread these false and misleading narratives.

Instead of sound social and economic policies Russia has adopted an array of laws handing Russia new powers to restrict U.S. social media giants and label individuals “foreign agents”.

People are being unfairly turned against the United States.

Meanwhile, ESG-focused business practices are gaining popularity around the world (Environmental, Social, and Managerial ESG Criteria).

“Policymakers around the world have signalled that full employment, and increased income for low-income households is a key part of post-covid policy,” Goldman Sachs says.

The emerging policy consensus around recovery is that what has been a social rather than a financial crisis will need a social fix.

Such redistribution policies are commodities-positive since lower-income households tend to spend more of the extra money they receive.

The opportunities for the United States to interact with its partners in the field of financial security are very significant.

American economic power is the best deterrent.

The funds confiscated under the implementation of the new Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020 (AMLA) can be a source of funding to help decarbonize all socio-economic life, as well as ESG practices.

I ask you to consider, together with your allies, the possibility of blocking of foreign assets of Russian individuals, estimated value of assets is about one trillion dollars / Laid down in the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA; P.L. 115-44); bill Defending American Security from Kremlin Aggression Act (DASKA) and bill Holding Russia Accountable for Malign Activities Act of 2020/; the new Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020 (AMLA); in the quality the “series of discreet measures” to “impose a price greater than one they might have expected”.

I ask you to consider, together with your allies, the legislative possibility of forming a model of direct financing for the popularization of the decarbonization of the economy and the popularization of ESG practices; from funds estimated at about one trillion dollars / Laid down in the Law on Countering America’s Adversaries through Sanctions (CAATSA; P. L. 115-44); the bill on protecting American security from Kremlin aggression (DASKA) and the bill on holding Russia accountable for malicious activities of 2020; the new Law on Combating Money Laundering of 2020 (AMLA).

I ask you to consider the legislative possibility of forming a model for direct financing of Russians, similar to paragraph 15 of the European Parliament resolution of September 17, 2020 on the situation in Russia (2020/2777 (RSP)).

Yours sincerely,

Igor (Vladimirovich) Nasonov.

Brett, Why does it take so long to process and return tax refunds? The Covid excuse is getting old and it is looking like the state just wants to keep the funds as long as possible. Can you check on this for us?

I want to make sure you vote against any legislation that would take away my vote for President. District 2 deserves to have their voices heard and not forced to accept the choice of the minority of voters in Western Nebraska.

Hello Senator Lindstrom,

My name is Deb Wert. I was hoping that you could assist me with my unemployment. I was laid off from my job on 3/26/20 – I reopened an existing claim that I had. (In April of 2019 I was let go from my position of 5 years due to new management at UHC)

I have heard nothing – my claim did expire on 5/2/20 – I filed a new claim where it made me go through my previous employer. I was lucky enough to speak to a live person last week who viewed my claim and gave me a case number and stated she would send it over. I have had no emails, phone calls or mail or funds. I simply do not know where I stand. I am receiving my $1200 stimulus payment on 5/6/20 – I am all most out of savings.

With Nebraska wanting to reopen – how can I spend any of my funds on restaurants or anything else when I am not sure how long my funds will last, and i am one of the lucky ones that have some savings – I know their are so many others that dont.

I realize that you are busy and I greatly appreciate you taking the time if you can to assist me.

I emailed Sara Howard and she suggested I email you and provide you with my information, so here goes:

Debra Wert

6213 N 111th Cir

Omaha, NE 68164

Case number I was given: T6R8Y0 – case number that now appears on this new claim is 672269 – that is another thing on the website when i first filed i could see the stimulus funds of $510 and other things now since I had to open a new claim I cant see anything.

I want to express my opposition to LB58. I do not want Nebraska to become one of the places that seeks to be one of the states to take way our freedoms and our constitutional right to bear arms. Vote NO on LB 58

Dear Senator,

When the so called “Red Flag” laws were originally proposed, I thought they might provide a reasonable compromise between safety and our Constitutional Rights. I recognize that in some cases of gun violence, perpetrators drop plenty of clues about their intent. On the other hand, no state so far has proposed any such bill that would ensure due process. All allow firearm confiscation without a hearing, all are instated based on public heresay and rumor, and are generally nothing more than a clever gun confiscation scheme. If someone is deemed violent and incompetent for their own actions in a court of law, that’s another story. There are already remedies in these cases. As I understand it, LB 58 is one such “Red Flag” law that is currently in review by the Unicameral. Please vote NO on this bill is altered to provide a court trial judgement to confiscate any firearm. Do not violate the 1st and 4th Amendments of the Constitution, as any such law is null and void.

Mr. Lindstrom, I am asking you to PLEASE vote AGAINST LB 289. The Bill up for vote on April 24th. I work for three Animal Rescues, in Omaha. This Bill will require residents to pay taxes on Veterinary Medical Services. Everyone deserves to have a pet and Veterinary Services are already very high.

I wanted to reach out and thank you for your work on the senior social sec reduction bill. It is good to see a politician that keeps his promises.

I hear that there is a bill being considered to allow Ne to tax retirement 401K’s to help the OPS retirement blunder. Please do not allow this to happen. I feel for the teachers but don’t make every retiree pay for their mistakes. This would be a bad path to follow. Thank you for defending all retirees you can count on our votes in the future.

Thanks for sharing tonight at the neighborhood event Brett. I am so happy to hear that you have done your homework so well. I love your plan for finally getting this state to come together—both urban and rural, east and west—with what it takes to end up with a better and more fair taxing system. Keep up the good work!

Brett Lindstrom, you really should fill out the NFOA PAF questionnaire. Harry Reid had an NRA “A” rating too. But, this is Nebraska.

Did you receive a questionaire from the Nebraska Firearms Owners Association? Did you fill it out? Very important to us even if you have an endorsement from the NRA. We would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

I would just like to say " Thank You " for actually getting out and going door to door. Normally I don’t like that but being able to speak with you, was a big deal. My wife and I will not only be voting for you, but will also try and get the word out. I noticed after you came through that several of my neighbors had signs in their yards. I would be more than happy to put one in mine as well. Thanks, and good luck!- Randy Moncrief
